Welcome to Whitehall Publishing.  My name is Bonnie Marlewski-Probert and I am the founder of this organization.

Our Roots

Whitehall Publishing came into being AFTER I survived two traditional book publishing deals myself. I learned the hard way that in most areas of life, if you want a specific outcome, you need to take responsibility for the outcome!

Since coming to that realization, I have published more than 1000 magazine articles, 13 books, launched a publishing house, wrote two syndicated columns and have shared my experiences with audiences around the country. Through Whitehall Publishing, we have been proud to be the launching pad for hundreds of writers around the globe.

Are You Ready?

If you are ready to move forward with your writing career, you are at the right place at the right time.

Here at Whitehall, our goal is to empower through education, writers who are serious about seeing their name in print.  We work with writers who are ready to launch their career and intend to be published hundreds, and preferably, thousands of times in the years ahead.

We offer writers two different publishing options.  Both of which are all inclusive and include 500 FREE copies of your finished book as part of the Flat Fee (500 free copies applies to all book with B&W interiors and soft covers). The Silver level is perfect for all books that are NOT going to be sold in traditional outlets (bookstores, libraries, etc).  These books generally include family anthologies or titles written by celebrities who speak extensively and prefer to avoid book stores and instead, sell their products at events. In both cases, you will not need the ISBN# and international distribution that we provide on the Premium Level. The Silver Level is less expensive and still provides you with 500 FREE copies of your finished book (500 free copies applies to all book with B&W interiors and soft covers) as part of the flat fee.  Click here for more information on the Silver Level.

At the Premium Level, your book will be published with all the elements necessary to gain international distribution.  We will establish your book in the Databases of the two largest book wholesalers and distributors in the USA as well as Amazon.com. In addition, as with the Silver Level,  we will provide you with 500 FREE copies of your finished book as part of the flat fee (500 free copies applies to all book with B&W interiors and soft covers). The Premium Level is perfect for any author who wants to see their book in bookstores, libraries, gift stores, on Amazon.com and in other, more traditional sales outlets.   Click here for more information on the Premium Level.

We are serious about helping our clients achieve success and we expect our clients to be just as serious about becoming successful with our help!

Common Misconceptions About Publishing

Like most new authors, I believed that if I could just GET a publishing deal, I would be a success. Once I got the contract, I believed I could focus on writing and my publisher would take care of everything else.  O.K., I admit it now, I was SO wrong.  Publishing is a business and I appeared to be the only one who didn't get that concept.  Let me stress something here and now, it is NOT a difficult business to learn, but until you do, your success will be seriously limited.

It was only after my second experience in the book publishing industry that I discovered that the statistics were probably correct - most authors never make any money off their traditionally published books and are usually very disappointed with the end results.  This shouldn't be a surprise, when you ask yourself this question, how much of your time is spent learning the business of publishing versus writing and looking for a publisher?  If the answer to that question is ZERO, NONE, NADA or ZIP, I guarantee, you will end up in the same situation that most authors end up in, famous on a very small scale and broke!

There is NO reason for your outcome to be that way, IF you are willing to learn from my experience.

Our Mission

We are here to help YOU achieve your dreams by walking you through every step of the book publishing process, from start to finish!  When you are ready to take control of your future as an author, we are here to help you make that happen!

We want authors to be in the driver's seat both creatively and financially over their own book!  Our mission at Whitehall Publishing is to offer talented writers an alternative to conventional publishing in which, for the first time, the author calls all the shots, the author maintains the copyright to their work and most of all, the author keeps all the profits from their efforts, for the life of their book. What a concept!

What Our Clients Are Saying

"We very much appreciated your dedication to achieving that goal, and all that you did to make that happen -- while staying within our budget!!

More than that, however, I cannot begin to tell you how much your knowledge of the publishing process and your attention to every detail meant to us (me AND the sisters!). You were so thorough, not only in answering all our questions, but also offering suggestions, ideas, options, etc., that we had not thought of. And you were able to remain composed (even optimistic!) and focused when we threw you some major curves.

The book is beautiful; everyone is extremely pleased -- and I do not believe we could have ended up with this wonderful product without you. I will be recommending you to anyone and everyone who asks how to get a book published. If you ever need a reference, let me know!" Jean Merry, By God's Providence, The Sisters of St. Francis, Wisconsin.

"It was my first experience with publishing, but every question - no matter how big or small was answered to my satisfaction.  The process was made painless by the way that I was guided through the steps involved. I know without a doubt that the book was better than I expected because of this process."  Emily Lineberger Bridges, Dear Dolly.  To learn more about Emily, her book Dear Dolly and to see how the drop ship vendor agreement works, click here and follow the links from Books to Dear Dolly.

"Working with Bonnie and Whitehall Publishing was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to publishing my next book with their help" Linda Robinson, author of Dear Grandchild, When You Come for a Visit.
